Hares Dogsy and Up Yer Bum
There was very little signage to the run start, meandering lost, perturbed, anxious and frustrated a phone call to Lost Souls put us right.
A run start exposed to chilly winds. Only the hardy braved the way. Woolly hats on, woolly hats off, gilets on and gilets off. Left foot in and left foot out and shake it all about.....off into the campo chugging up and down hilly terrain on well trodden paths eventually we warmed. Heartily enjoying panoramic views of the coast combined with checks and splits, the pack intact, not too long, we arrived at a cosy beer stop free from the wind. A rather protracted beer stop full of banter and booze reluctantly on to the second half of the run.
The second half of the run was similar to the first. Not too taxing but enough to blow the cobwebs away. Arriving back to the start the plan was to move the circle to a less exposed place. Problems manifested straight away!! The hares having departed by car to the new location had taken the key pot. After frantic calls and shouting we readily moved to the new location.
Unfortunately one of the local residents took issue with the invasion of scruffily clad imposters causing one to wave a large stick accusing a nameless hasher of bending his gate with his tow bar. A heated argument ensued resulting in an assault by stick on the hasher's car. ( Faulty Towers reborn )
Groundhog Day. We then moved location again fearing more inflammatory actions.
Finally the circle started minus the guilty hasher who had disappeared or been buried alive somewhere by an irate spaniard ??? In true Hash spirit Nobody bothered to enquire...
Rob the Knob entertained as deputy R.A. In fine fettle and voice we were regaled with new Hash songs. After the usual banter with referance to “Spanishgate “ and “ Taking some stick “ A score of 8.7 was achieved including extras for live entertainment.
Off to the on on to pay as you go. Some think this encourages more to partake !
A fun run without too much sun from Up Yer Bum who is a yum.

From Fuengirola:
Follow directions to the Hipodromo (Racecourse). The road is opposite Castillo de Sohail.
Go past cemetery to roundabout. Take first exit straight on towards Cerro del Aguila
(HHH signs from here)
At next roundabout turn left (3rd exit). Go up hill until T-junction.
Turn right.
After about 200 metres turn left down hill.
Go about 1 km. past Finca Alegria horse ranch on right.
Circle just past there on left.
From La Cala
Find Mercadona. Go past there. Go past school on left.
Keep going up hill to circle.
