Yet Another Sunny Sunday run, in Bollox Country for our Bolloxy Girls. A decent turn out before the October rains eventually begin!
We set off with minimal flour explanations other than "ïf you're not on then you´re not on!" describing the beautiful "Viewpoints" we soon realised we were in for a CLIMB! And climb we did! I decided heroically to do the MACHO run with PG and the hilarious thing is that the WIMP trail took longer! LOL! ...and we walked and we ran and we did 360´s ...where´s the effing BS! and we walked and we ran and we did some more 360´s ...passing the lovely Sierra Restaurant where we had the End of Summer Ball and then yet more up! up! up!
Eventually after over an hour and twenty minutes we reached the (slightly rusty) Cerrado Del Aguila Sign and Beer Stop! We filled up on Water, Softies, Beer and for me the taste of the moment in Cheese and Onion Hula Hoops as I have O.D´d on BBQ ones!!!
After a short BS stop (as we were nearly last to arrive) we calculated we might be back by midnight! Thankfully a trail was soon found in the woods and we were back for the circle. Chairs appeared and most of us sat for the circle! Marks were given due to what I now call "Hash Amnesia" and the Bollocky Run amassed an impressive 8.6 depsite us nearly having no ice (or money to pay for it!!!) The ice bucket was a bit empty so most had pretty dry bums by the end.
Lots of Anniversarios including 660 for Sir Flakey, 480 for Stiffanny and I managed an impressive 125!!! It has only taken me 25 years to amass such an impressive score which I can average out at 5 runs a Year...I will TRY HARDER in 2021 I promise!
We had plenty of Down Downs including a relatively new "if One Bollox drinks ALL Bollox drink" down down and the sleeve for the GM for getting it all wrong!
Yet again Puro Asia laid on an incredibly generous and tasty meal for us and we thank Sandra and Volley for a happy hashy run! On On!
