Hash Narrative:

The Mijas Sunday run formed part of a weekend event which also involved a Malaga run on the Saturday. It was based at Hotel Cerro de Hijar, half way up the mountain from Tolox village.

The Sunday run was however most defininately not a hare of the dog run. A more accurate description would be an assault course. It was set in the spectacular scenery of the Sierra de las Nieves and was highly organised – the hares has prepared three run options, a super wimps, a wimps and a macho! However … the markings didn't quite live up to the organisation.

Very few people managed to follow the whole route, which ever of the three that was. Those who did manage to follow the macho route encountered a spectacular water fall high up the mountain. The wimps and super wimps arrived at another, second water fall lower down which, by all accounts, was no less spectacular. (I never got to see the upper water fall.)

Ultimately, the hashers were scattered across the mountain and all came in at wildly spaced intervals. The final machos arrived three and a half hours after the start!

Thus a very short circle followed, the most significant part of which was Just say When being relieved of Hash Shit. At the that point no-one had it, but after the marking of the run, it was awarded to Muzzl-Im.

After starting at 11.30, it was around 4 o'clock before we repaired to a very nice restuarant, halfway back up the hill towards the hotel for the on on …. pretty well all, by then … completely knackered!
