It was an early start and a split circle due to the Rona. (What’s that. Ed.)
At 13:00 on a gorgeous sunny day 28 hashers gathered for the 2020 Christmas dash.
The location was near La Cala with a split circle and early start just in case of neighbourly jealousy.
We were promised a 7.5 KM run with a beer-stop and a cava and cake stop,
First part of the run was up a hill, along a fence, through brambles, under palm trees and on for about 5 k with a few FTs along the way! Trail marked quite well despite the fact that Stiffany bought sugar instead of flour!
The first beer stop was in the national park with beer and delicious cake.
The next part of the run split between machos and wimpos with a warming to anyone with vertigo not to follow the macho route. I didn’t heed Stiffany’s warning and almost fell off the cliff edge!
Luckily everyone made it to the cava stop!
After that it was about 1 km. back to the circle with a delightful 1/10 steep hill at the end!
Some of the hashers made an effort with their Christmas outfits (including hats in the circle) and nearly all made an appearance in the circle where we had down down beet and gluewein
Sleeve worn by Uncle Fester as he could not remember his own hash name, never mind anyone else’s.
