It was an early start due to our favourite virus.
At 13:00 on a warm and sunny December day 19 fairweather hashers gathered for another epic run.
The location was near Santana golf with the circle held in a tunnel presumable to avoid the attentions of the Covid gestapo.
We were promised a 7 KM run with a beer-stop and a cava stop, perfect,
Off we set up the river and then alongside the golf course before heading of on some more interesting trails in and out of the river bed.
The first beerstop was after about 4 Kms and featured some lovely homemade cakes courtesy of Stiffanny.
The trail to the next beer stop was along the river bed full of loose rocks, perfect for that twisted ankle. Fortunely we all survived intact!
The second beerstop again featured cakes but this time with Cava and fresh orange juice.
After that it was just 1 km. through more dry riverbed back to the circle.
Exactly 7 Kms. As promised, well done hares
Colonic was his usual brilliant self with more abuse of the pack.
I skipped the meal so cannot comment on how it went.
